Elle Halo

Elle Halo, is a Black woman of trans experience, and a dedicated LGBTQ Health Equity Advocate and Educator. Founder and Consultancy Director of TRANCE Consulting L.L.C. and has founded The Paris Tikka Mahon Memorial Transition Fund. She is a writer model and singer. She was The First Transgender woman Community Co -Chair of SAPG STATEWIDE ACTION PLANNING GROUP FOR HIV AND AIDS OF WISCONSIN. She was an inaugural member of The Black AIDS Institute Ambassadorship of Biomedical Prevention. She is also a 2nd term member of The Board of Directors at Diverse and Resilient, as well as a member of the mutual aid fundraising team Love On Black Women LLC.

She is the EmpowerHer Summit Facilitator for Black Trans Women Inc.

 She has experience as a public speaker and subject matter expert in areas of LGBTQIA health/ Transgender health, safety, and social disparities. In 2023 she received the Woman of the a year Award -Black Trans Advocacy Coalition (BTAC) a 2019 Milwaukee Pridefest Individual of the Year Award 2021, and 2021 Best LGBT Advocate Best of Milwaukee Award- Shepherd Express and LGBT Progress Award in activism recipient, The Black Rose Intuitive Community Rose Award and a Transfaith Bobbie Jean Baker Grantee.  Her mother is a minister, Evangelist Veronica Hardin, and Elle’s community work honors her mother’s example of unconventional community leadership.

Vision

The Paris Tikka Mahon Memorial Transition Fund exists to build a better future for the black LGBTQ community of Milwaukee beginning with providing free facial laser hair removal treatments for black Transwomen in collaboration with SHEBA Sisters Helping Each other Battle Adversity  / Diverse & Resilient . We hope to offer financial assistance for all trans affirming care, transition related procedures and one day with your help provide support for trans affirming surgeries. The future of the fund will be a garden and art installation in the city of Milwaukee this is a legacy peice for our community dedicated to Paris Tikka Mahon and Ronnie Grace the fund hopes to be here to support future generations of black and brown lgbt + folks the fund stands to tell the stories of trans and lgbt hate crimes anti trans murder HIV /Aids awareness infant mortality gun violence fentanyl related deaths suicide, youth suicide Sickle Cell Anemia Long Covid rare-lung disease diabetes and to honor our lost elders. Advocating for mental health, civic engagement, and a trauma based approach rooted in abolition and liberation.


TRANCE CONSULTING is also a creative brand, there will be creative projects like The Elle Halo Show, future music, publications programming events and products are soon to come!


Our mission is to break through decades of discrimination and marginalization to empower trans folks to step into leadership spaces, and create their OWN tables and build generational wealth.

What we do

Grassroots Organizing Resource Navigation, Social Media Curator/Creator

Most of Elle's work is community based trans and or black led, she works with local and national organizations we will be wherever the work calls us to be! With a spirit of service.

Elle manages multiple social media networks and manages organization partner platforms and creates social media content she is a writer and blogger.

Public Speaking

Collabrative Event Organizing, Event Hosting,

Panel moderation/organizing. Keynote Speaker. Event Judging.


Elle curates facilitates and develops customized trainings, affinity spaces,  panel events, Artivism and Empowerment spaces, she is also available for facilitation and  workshops. She offers up grassroots non profit / small business coaching website design

Funding

Elle has developed years of grassroots fundraising experience in kind donations, donation canvassing, mutual aid organizing, grant reviewing,  and has become a accomplished independent grant writer.

Board and Committee Service

Elle entered into executive leadership via grassroots organizing and historic Board service she is a 2nd term board member for Diverse and Resilient, and was the first transgender woman to join and eventually become the Community Co Chair of The Statewide Action Planning Group for HIV/ STI's of WI.
